Wagner Van Dam, Design and Decoration was founded in 1993 when the principals, Ronald F. Wagner and Timothy Van Dam, joined their individual practices. Since founding the partnership, they have focused on both residential and corporate commissions. In addition to participating in the twenty-fifth anniversary Kips Bay Showhouse, and the Abigail Adams Smith Museum Designer's Fare, their work has been featured in such publications as Architectural Digest, the New York Times, Design Times, Marie Claire Maison, Private New York, New York Style, Résidence Décoration, and Interior Design magazine.

Ronald Wagner, ASID graduated Cum Laude from Pratt Institute with a degree in Interior Design, where he went on to teach an Interior Design Studio class for ten years, retiring as an Associate Professor. Formerly with such firms as Swanke, Hayden & Connell Architects, and GN Associates, he formed his own practice in 1983, until merging with Mr. Van Dam. He is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification.

Timothy Van Dam, ASID graduated from Pratt Institute, where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Interior Design. Formerly with such firms as Knoll International and Warren Hanson Associates, he formed his own practice in 1986. At this time he also became a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt, teaching in a Masters Studio for eight years, until merging with Mr. Wagner. He is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification.
